For years, anyone managing Amazon Ads at scale has lived with the same headache: Sponsored Ads data in one report, DSP data in another, and no clean way to see the full picture without exporting everything into a spreadsheet and stitching it together by hand. On June 8, 2026, Amazon finally closed that gap. Unified Reporting went generally available inside the Amazon Advertising console, and it’s one of the more meaningful reporting changes we’ve seen in the platform in the last few years.
Here’s what changed, why it matters, and how to actually use it to make smarter budget decisions — not just look at prettier charts.

What Is Unified Reporting?
Unified Reporting is a single report type that pulls data from Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and Amazon DSP into one place — across multiple accounts, countries, and ad products simultaneously.
Before this rollout, if you were running both Sponsored Ads and DSP for a brand, you were stuck toggling between two separate reporting systems with different schemas, different column names, and no native way to blend the two without a third-party BI tool. Amazon retired two legacy reports as part of the launch, so this isn’t an “opt-in extra” — it’s the new default way of pulling cross-channel performance data.
For agencies and in-house teams managing full-funnel Amazon strategies (upper-funnel DSP awareness campaigns feeding lower-funnel Sponsored Products conversions), this is the first time Amazon has offered a truly native, single source of truth for that entire journey.
Why This Matters More Than It Sounds Like It Should
If you only run Sponsored Products, you might be tempted to shrug this off. Don’t. Here’s why it matters even for sponsored-ads-only advertisers:
1. It’s a preview of where Amazon is pushing the platform. Amazon has been steadily merging Sponsored Ads and DSP under one roof for the last two years — shared campaign manager UI, shared audience tools, and now shared reporting.
2. Cross-account visibility, without exports.
If you manage multiple seller or vendor accounts under one brand, Unified Reporting lets you pull performance across accounts and countries in a single view.
3. Attribution finally makes more sense. Blending DSP and Sponsored Ads data in one place makes it much easier to see how upper-funnel spend is actually influencing lower-funnel conversion.
What’s Actually in the Report
- Cross-product metrics normalized across Sponsored Ads and DSP
- Multi-account rollups
- Multi-country rollups
- Standardized time granularity
- Retirement of two legacy reports — meaning saved templates, scheduled exports, or BI integrations need rebuilding
That feeling when Amazon PPC data is easy to read.
The Part Nobody’s Talking About: Your Old Reports Are Breaking
Because two legacy reports were retired, any automated pipeline referencing the old report IDs or column structures needs updating now, not “eventually.” Worth auditing this week if you have client or leadership dashboards fed by Amazon Ads exports.
How to Access It
Under Measurement & Reporting in the Amazon Advertising console. Access has been rolling out by account type/eligibility, similar to the AMC navigation update earlier this year.
What This Means If You’re Managing Your Own PPC
- Rebuild any saved report templates tied to the retired reports
- Re-check scheduled exports feeding spreadsheets/BI tools/leadership decks
- If you run DSP + Sponsored Ads, use this to sanity-check whether DSP spend is actually supporting conversion
- If you don’t run DSP yet, the reporting friction that used to make it a hard sell is now gone

The Bottom Line
Unified Reporting isn’t just a cosmetic upgrade to the Amazon Ads console it’s Amazon telling advertisers, in plain terms, that Sponsored Ads and DSP are meant to be managed as one system, not two. The advertisers who treat it that way — auditing their reporting setup now, rebuilding what broke, and actually using the cross-channel view to guide budget decisions — are going to out-execute the ones who log in next quarter and wonder why their old dashboard looks different.
If you take one thing from this post, make it this: check your saved reports and scheduled exports this week, not after something breaks in front of a client or your leadership team.
The rest DSP-to-Sponsored-Ads attribution, multi-account rollups, cleaner budget allocation is upside you can build on once the plumbing is confirmed to work.
